Pink's Hot Dogs

The first place which I was exposed as I came to LA was "Pink's Hot Dogs". Someone who was going with me said that it is a famous place for its hot dogs and it is always long queued even in the morning and evening. Yes, it is true. Every time as I passed by Pink's Hot Dogs I saw that it was so crowded. I was curious about pink hod dog's taste. Then, I asked one of my friend that have you ever tried this hot dog? She said that she tried to have it but she fed up for standing in line for over half an hour. One thing that I certainly wish to do is having pink's hot dog before leaving LA.

Busy weeks

Two classes' assessments are coming to due dates. As a mother, I am still bad mom for my son. My son has been on his vacation since beginning of May. Last few weeks I couldn't spend any time with him so he is now really unsatisfied with me. I just consume quick time him to make breakfast, lunch, and dinner. He wants me more time to play chess, have a chat, and take a walk with him. He now started asking me when is your vacation going to start almost every day. I said him that my son be patient, now there are only two weeks left to start my vacation. Then we are going sightseeing in LA and I know a lot of places to have fun and explore. My son now is looking forward to traveling around LA. So our tourist guide will be my peer bloggers from "LA Tourist Attractions & Sightseeing" and "Sweet in California". Of course, it is impossible to imagine that kids are being without any sweet.

Hobby

In my opinion, our hobbies are being constantly changed depends on our ages, life styles, living atmosphere, society and so forth. I used to have range of hobbies such as dancing, playing basketball, keeping diary, swimming, collecting posters and fancy plastic bags. Since I started living in LA, I got another hobby which is cooking. Even though cooking is a regular chore for every wife, my attitude about cooking is changed into becoming one  of my hobby. In LA, we can see different kinds of nations' life style, their culture . Cuisine can be one of the biggest introductions about nations to the world. I love Korean food. I visit to youtube to find any food that I want to learn. I have learnt several Korean foods like Doejibulgogi, Bulgogi, Kimchi Jiigae, and side dishes too. I now start learning some Mexican foods. My first target is Taco which seems to me Mexican popular food. I will be happy to go back to my family with rich of cook recipe consists of multiple nations' cuisine.

Doing shopping is great in USA

I believe that it is impossible to find out any woman who doesn't like shopping. USA is great place to do shopping. We can spend less and take more. My strategy of shopping is that to save the money and wait for holidays here. During this time, I can spend less for numerous of fancy and quality clothes with unbelievable price. Also, I have a chance to return the clothes which don't fit well, are in wrong size, or are not satisfied enough for me. However, I really try to make a good choice for shopping instead of returning them. In our country, shopping attitude is a little bit different from here. Even though we meet with sales for every holiday, real sales exist here. Returning clothes is almost impossible. If we really need to return something we have bought, we will have only two choices to buy another thing instead of it or to return it with a little percent of deduction from the original price. So I love shopping here. Today, there were good sales for Memorial Day in Citadel outlets. My satisfaction is 100 percent today.

Age is just number

When I was a child, I always waited for my birthday like others. Every child looks forward to becoming like their parents quickly. Last several years, I could not be  excited for my birthday like previous ones. In contrast, I feel sad for getting older year by year. Whereas, one thing could change my such feeling in positive way.    

As I am walking through our apartment hall I usually hear very loud hard rock music from 304. Every time I hear this music, the imagine of a cool rocker might live in 304 comes directly into my mind. One day, I saw an old man who was dressed like a hip hop singer, was going out of 304 and found out that he lives alone. It means that someone who likes listening to rock was him.I assume that  he must be about 65-70 years old. Although, he looks 10 years younger than his age. I can say that no one won't find the old man who dresses hip hop style and loves listening to loud hard rock in my country. Yes, both rock music and hip hop style are not devoted to just youngsters. Age is just number, Happy birthday to every one!  

Home, Sweet Home Quest helped me

For last 3 months we are struggling with too much noise due to the construction work on our apartment's roof. During this period we faced with several problems such as roof leaking twice, too much dust, and too much noise of drilling so forth. My room's roof was broken down was the biggest problem. It happened about 3 weeks ago. Some workers were drilling and heavily hammering on our roof. At that time I was reading some articles on my laptop to prepare for the test on my Tuesday class. Fortunately, right after I had just walked into kitchen area for drinking something, the roof was broken down into the exact area where I was sitting. I f I were sitting there, every parts of broken roof would fall on my head. I might have been hurt that day. I started loosing my patient and though it was time to write a letter to landlord. It was the first time for me to write it so I quickly checked the Howe, Sweet Home Quest to find out a sample letter to model it. It helped me a lot. We are creating very useful Web Quests for ESL/EFL learners by having class 565.
  

Sold our bike....

Just after we have come in USA, my husband bought a bike to ride between home and adult school or some places where he needs to go. We bought it from yard sale. I liked the idea of yard sale which does not exist in our country. It seems to me a better place to buy something like furniture except for clothes in which we do not need to pay much. After we have bought a car he did not use his bike at all and his bike stayed in our parking for over 6 or 7 months without any movement. A two days ago, my neighbor told me that "Someone left the message on your bike. Have you read it?" The message asked us if we wanted to sell our bike or not and left phone number to contact with a message sender. Of course, it was a good offer for us especially for my son. For last few months, he asked for me to buy him a bike or a scooter. Yesterday, we sold it by the same price that we first bought it. Now my son and me are so satisfied because my son got a scooter that he wanted to have and I have increased the number of books in my own library. It is really easy to buy or sell second-hand things in USA.
